QuiiQ MOVIES WebService Issue.
There is an issue regarding the QuiiQ MOVIES Webservice.
If you keep getting an error while trying to connect to QuiiQ MOVIES Collector, Projector and Collection Manager; please do the following procedures:
- start QuiiQ MOVIES Control Center.
- "right-click" the Control Center icon in the "icon tray" (near the windows vista clock).
- select the option "Network service".
If all sub-options are disabled (like in the picture) there is a problem with the Webservice that QuiiQ MOVIES uses.
--- WHO'S AFFECTED ---
User of some OEM Vista systems, predominantly using non-US versions of windows vista.
--- POSSIBLE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM ---
Windows Vista "Star Menu" junction point in the "C:\ProgramData" folder is broken.
--- TEST THE PROBLEM ---
- Open Windows Explorer window.
- Type "C:\ProgramData\Start Menu\Programs" in the address bar and hit the "Enter" key.
--- SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM ---
- Uninstall QuiiQ MOVIES.
- Please download this archive (click here to download).
- Unzip and save the "BAT" file on your computer.
- "Righ-click" the file and select the option "Run as administrator".
- Open Windows Explorer window.
- Type "C:\ProgramData\Start Menu\Programs" in the address bar and hit the "Enter" key. To see if every thing works now.
- Install QuiiQ MOVIES.

Finally Launched!!!
Finally the QuiiQ MOVIES website has been launched.
We're really sorry for the delay but our website was moved to a server in the U.S. and some errors (as usual) appeared during the operation...
Never the less we're really happy to finally release this product into the market. We think (and hope) it will make the difference in peoples homes giving them the possibility to store and view movies in a more comfortable and easy way. Of course we might be "aiming hie" but your feedback and suggestions are always welcome.
You can download the product in our website and have a 15 days trial for free. The trial doesn't "limit the experience" every thing is enabled during those 15 days has a "BASE Licence".

Commenting the Blog.
Force people to register just to comment a Post is not very practical and a bit excessive... so every comment will be filtered (because of "junk" comments made by automated applications) before it's "appearance" in the Post.
Of course we guarantee that every legit comment (good or bad) will sooner or later appear.
